Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe New Vehicle Prep Technician is responsible for the complete pre-delivery process of new vehicles, including inspections, dealer-installed accessories, cosmetic preparation, quality checks, and digital reporting. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform full Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) following manufacturer guidelines.Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (MPVI) as required.Prepare vehicles for delivery, including fluids, tire pressures, fuel, and protective material removal.Install dealer-added accessories (floor mats, mud flaps, running boards, tonneau covers, bed liners, etc.).Follow proper torque specs, wiring procedures, and installation standards.Ensure vehicles meet dealership readiness standards before release.Document work performed thoroughly and accurately.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety guidelines.
